The Combined Annual Training Camp (CATC) of the National Cadet Corps (NCC) held at Surajgarh and organised by 1Raj (I) COY NCC Pilani from October 20th to October 29th was a remarkable event that brought together cadets from various units for an immersive training experience.

The camp was in the picturesque town of Surajgarh, which provided a perfect backdrop for various outdoor activities and training programs.

The campsite was well-equipped with necessary infrastructure and facilities with several key objectives, including:

1.    To impart essential military training to NCC cadets.

2.    To foster leadership and team-building skills among the participants.

3.    To instil a sense of discipline and patriotism.

4.    To enhance physical fitness and adventure skills.

5.    To promote social awareness and community service.

The camp was packed with a diverse range of activities. These included:

Drill and Parade: Cadets were trained rigorously in drill and parade, ensuring they developed precision and discipline in their movements.

Firing Practice: Firearms training was conducted under expert supervision, emphasizing safety and marksmanship.

Map Reading and Navigation: Cadets learned essential skills for reading maps and navigating unfamiliar terrain.

Social Service: Cadets engaged in community service activities, including cleanliness drives and awareness

Impact:

The CATC NCC Camp at Surajgarh had a profound impact on the cadets. They gained a sense of discipline, improved physical fitness, and developed leadership and teamwork skills.
