The IDE Boot Camp held at the National Institute of Technical Teachers Training & Research, (NITTTR) Chandigarh from June 22 to June 26, 2023, organized by the Ministry of Education, innovation cell and All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
It was a highly informative and practical event focused on Integrated Development Environments (IDEs). The boot camp featured expert-led sessions, hands-on workshops, and collaborative activities that provided participants with a comprehensive understanding of IDEs and their applications in software development. Through engaging lectures, interactive discussions, and real-world case studies, attendees gained valuable insights into the features, customization options, and best practices of popular IDEs. The event fostered networking opportunities and encouraged participants to continue exploring IDEs for enhanced productivity and efficiency in their software development endeavours.
I am happy to share that our students also pitched their idea in the camp, and both performed well in the whole event. Master Uday Sharma received a certificate of appreciation for recognising as the Best Pitcher in the idea pitching session in IDE Bootcamp.

Innovation, Design and Entrepreneurship (IDE) Bootcamp scheduled from 22nd to 26th of June at NITTTR Chandigarh was a wonderful opportunity for me Uday Sharma and my mate Ankush, the students of class 11th from Birla School Pilani to acknowledge ourselves with the world of Entrepreneurship. To this world both of us were freshmen. The team there was trying to solve all the problems we faced and give us knowledge about entrepreneurship. The college students were like friends, exhorting us and making us always learn new things. A major part of the camp was the pitching of ideas by us which was to be done after the workshop of 3 days. I got an opportunity to pitch my idea regarding solar-powered charging stations for EVs keeping in mind sustainable development on the 5th day of the camp. I was initially feeling if my idea was good enough to compete with the students who came from all over India and doubted if I could embed my name in the hearts of the people there but after I pitched my idea it felt like achieving a great milestone and that feeling boosted my confidence and I secured 5th position among about 80 school students from 18 various states. I would like to thank Sir Dhirendra Singh, Principal, S. P. Anand Sir, Headmaster, Narendra Sir, our physics teacher who took our responsibility, and our parents to allow us to have such a great experience.

The five-day boot camp was an intensive and transformative experience. It provided me with numerous opportunities to learn, grow, and connect with like-minded individuals. Here are my reflections from the camp:
- Knowledge Expansion: The boot camp expanded my knowledge in various areas relevant to innovation design and entrepreneurship. The sessions were carefully curated to cover a wide range of topics, from technical skills to leadership and communication.
- Hands-on Learning: The camp emphasized practical learning through hands-on activities, group discussions, and real-world case studies. This approach enabled me to apply the concepts and techniques learned in a simulated environment, enhancing my understanding and retention.
- One of the most valuable aspects of the boot camp was the opportunity to network with professionals from diverse backgrounds. Engaging in discussions, collaborating on projects, and exchanging ideas with peers and industry experts broadened my perspective and provided valuable insights.
- Personal Growth: The boot camp not only focused on professional development but also fostered personal growth. Through self-reflection exercises, mindfulness practices, and motivational talks, I gained a deeper understanding of myself, my strengths, and areas for improvement.
- Inspiration and Motivation: The boot camp was an inspiring environment that motivated me to strive for excellence. The guest speakers shared their success stories, challenges, and valuable advice, which left a lasting impact on me. It ignited a sense of passion and determination to pursue my goals.
